Trail riding at its best!
DVR Stables offers a variety of rides to suit all ability levels from novice to the experienced rider.
DVR Stables is open Weekends, School & Public holidays only. Bookings for midweek groups are subject to availability and must be made in advance with our resort's reception.
Animal Feeding is conducted daily at 10am every day.
DVR Stables areRides are conducted from the stables through our picturesque 360 acre property and adjoining Wattagan State Forest. The scenic trails follow old logging tracks which are teeming with wildlife, through rainforests and valleys to open countryside. All trail rides are fully guided with helmets provided.

Pony Rides
(20min)...........................$20.00
For their own safety, children under 8 years of age are not permitted on
trail rides, however pony rides can be arranged.
A parent or suitable adult
must be present to lead the pony.

Price of horse riding
includes FREE access to the Animal Farm. You may also like to inquire about birthday parties,
school excursions
and vacation care groups.
Capture the memory of your ride with a
personalised horse shoe painted with the name of your horse. Available
to buy
from the stables staff for $10.00 each shoe.
Vacation Care!
We offer vacation care for
groups. Prices range from $10 per child (includes pony ride) to $15 per
child (includes trail ride).
Minimum 20 children.
Activities include;
- Whipcracking
- Damper making (in winter) or swimming (in summer)
- 20min trail rides for children 10yrs and over, pony rides for children
under 10yrs
- Forest Board Walk
- Use of Activity Centre and Playground.
We have lovely quiet horses, perfect for children learning horse handling as well as horses for experienced riders. All activities and rides are fully supervised.
